Located directly at the resort’s parking lot, right at the start of the slopes, in the heart of the Praz de Lys – Sommand ski area, our ski shop offers a fully renewed equipment range, premium gear, and personalized guidance for all winter activities.

A premium equipment range, renewed and carefully maintained

This winter, the Ski Shop at Les Roches 1500 is taking things up a notch with a significant upgrade to its equipment range. We’ve added new well-known brands, developed specific categories (Premium, Freeride, Touring, Expert Nordic), and renewed a large part of our fleet.

Since the Sommand ski area is mostly made up of alpine pastures, the equipment wears less, which allows us to keep skis and snowboards in excellent condition throughout the season. A real advantage in offering quality skiing to every guest.

Maintenance, servicing and ski preparation

The Ski Shop at Les Roches 1500 has a professional preparation workshop, equipped with a WINTERSTEIGER machine, the world reference for snow-sports equipment servicing.

Our preparation services:

Waxing

• complete base cleaning
• application of wax suited to snow conditions
• optimal soak-in time
• precise scraping and final brushing

Edge sharpening

• manual sharpening or with the WINTERSTEIGER machine
• precision suited to the expected level of practice

Base repair

• repair with the WINTERSTEIGER belt machine
• or manual repair depending on the diagnosis

These services are offered for both personal equipment and rental equipment.
